Tyson Vending Machines

November 24, 2007

My parents came to Tulsa for Thanksgiving and my wife and I met them at the airport. As we were waiting for their plane to come in, I looked over to my right and saw the NASTIEST thing that any human would want to put into their stomach. It was a Tyson Foods Vending Machine.

From what I understand, the food is frozen in the machine, then when you make your selection, it moves your choice into an internal microwave and heats it up before it is served to you. What I am wondering is, “How long is that food really going to last inside the machine” and “Shouldn’t we be able to see the expiration date before we buy”.  If you want to see these “food” machine, you can go to Just to let you know though, it is scarier in person.

American Idol 2007

November 17, 2007

Well, the American Idol 2007 season is off and running and we are already down to the top eleven. We have a great group of idols this year, including Blake Lewis, our beat-boxing, dance grooving idol from Washington; our little-miss-big-voice, Melinda Doolittle, from Tennessee; and our rocker-girl, Gina Glocksen from Illinois, who knows how to party like a “Glock-star”. These are my favorite idols so far. I think that Blake has a way of expressing himself in a very modern way, and … Click here to read more

An Inconvient Truth: Global Warming According to Al Gore

November 17, 2007

Al Gore presents an eye opening truth about the current state and future of our planet in his book and film, An Inconvient Truth. This lecture that Mr. Gore has put together is the most comprehensive study in global warming that has reached the masses. He covers an extensive amount of information from the ice caps melting to the sea levels rising, from personal accounts that have made a difference in his life to diseases that global warming has caused in the recent years.

Al started his Global Warming studies when he was in college and it is something that has always intrigued him, and he has tried to take many steps to change this predicament that we find ourselves in. He was one of the men who helped to bring the Kyoto Act into frutation, but it is a sad fact to learn that all but two countries have agreeded to this act. The United States being one of the two. So after he left office, he began a lecture series, and out of that lecture came the book and then the film for which we will talk about.

His book is an amazing pictorial lecture of what is happening and what we can do to make a difference. … Click here to read more

The Film, Elephant by Gus Van Sant

November 17, 2007

Gus Van Sant’s Elephant is an interesting look at high school. The film takes you through the day of a few students and lets you see that day through their eyes. I really liked being able to see the school day through the students’ eyes. I think that a lot of teachers and parents don’t realize how their words and actions affect the lives of children. … Click here to read more

Ways to Save Money on Your Wedding

November 17, 2007

My wife and I got married in April of this year, and we had a very nice wedding at a very affordable price just by implementing a few easy to do tips.

1. Wedding Invitations.

When thinking about your wedding invitations, first know what kind of layout you would like. Then find a card dealer online who can do the printing on whatever color paper you want, and they usually also include the envelopes. Now the way to save money is to add a little bit of your time into it and “dazzle” them up for a fraction of what they would have cost you. … Click here to read more

Conflict Diamonds: The Kimberly Process Certification Scheme

November 17, 2007

Diamonds are a Girl’s Best Friend, well as long as it is not a conflict diamond. These diamonds are diamonds that have been mined in certain African combat zones that fuel civil war and the selling of these diamonds only fund the war which is puts civilians in harm’s way. There is now a global certification process used by major countries that distribute diamonds to keep conflict diamonds from entering the mass market. This certification process is knows as the Kimberly Process Certification Scheme. … Click here to read more

Buying Diamonds – How to Select the Perfect Diamond

November 17, 2007

“Diamonds are a girl’s best friend!”, and now you have to buy one or two for her. A diamond is one of the hardest things in the earth. They are a 10 on the Mols scale. Also, there are four (4) C’s of diamonds that you should know about before you begin your hunt for the perfect stone. They are Carat, Cut, Color, and Clarity and they are all relative to each other.

First of all, let me start out by saying that 1 carat (1ct.) diamonds make up only 5% of all diamonds that are mined and sold at a commercial level. This is why when you go to check out the price of a diamond, the 1ct. jumps in price, and, needless to say, that the 2ct. is an even greater increase. This fact brings me to my first C of diamonds … Click here to read more

StarCraft 2 by Blizzard

November 10, 2007

StarCraft 2 is the second installation of the hit Starcraft series from Blizzard, featuring the Terran, Zerg, and Protoss races. Back in 1998, Blizzard released the original Starcraft, and 10 years later they plan on releasing the second one.

Over the past few months, Starcraft fans have been gearing up for the event at gaming expos and watching the video player footage on youtube and other internet channels. Here are just a few to wet your mouth with. The first one is the Trailer for Starcraft 2, titled: Starcraft 2: Hell, It’s About Time:

Here is some gameplay video with a Blizzard representative introducing some of the new characters, weapons and abilities in the new Starcraft game:

Hopefully we will get a release date for this game soon. It is going to be one of the best games of the year just like the original one was back in 1998!

Make Money Online

November 6, 2007

There are many ways now-a-days to make money online. Whether you want to do it by creating videos, giving a product review, or explaining how to do something. You can also get paid to write articles and poetry or take pictures. You can even get paid just to share videos with your friends and family.

At the top of my blog, you will see a few links to web sites that you can sign up for depending on how you want to make your money. ExpoTV is a place where you create a video product review and make money on the front end and the back end.

Associated Content is a place where you can post how to videos, short films, product reviews, articles, poetry, photos, audio files and more and also get paid on the front end and the back end too.

Revver is a site where they add an advertisement to your video, and they will share the advertising revenue with you 50/50. Also if you sign up and just share video with your friends and family, you will get 20% of the revenue and Revver shares 40/40 with them and the creator.

Helium is a site where you get paid to write. This is also ad based, just like Revver.

Shutterstock, Fotolia, Dreamtime, and iStockPhoto are all picture and design submission sites where you upload your picture or graphic to them, and when someone buys it from them, you get a royalty from it, the price depends on the site.

So these are just some of the ways to make money online. As I come across more sites, I will post them on here, so make sure that you refer here often. You can bookmark this blog or have an RSS feed syndicated to your Yahoo or Google account. You can also sign up for subscribing by e-mail if you prefer. All of the links are on the right.

If you want to take a look at some examples of how I have created money online, most of the links to the right are videos that I have gotten paid with and also there are more after my blog posts. Check Them Out and see how easy it is to create money online!

If you want to talk with me personally about how to do it, you can follow me on Twitter, and I will let you know when I am broadcasting on JustinTV, and we can chat there. Also add me as a friend on MySpace, Facebook and all of the other social networking sites. If you see that I don’t have a certain social networking site, please let me know and I will join so we can chat.

Enjoy making money online!
