April 2008 Archives

As most of you know, I am a poet, and I have been writing poetry since I was a junior in High School.

While in College, at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, I wrote this poem that I think most of you will like:

THE DOWNLOADABLE

I see you be me
When I see me be you
Are we plugged
to become eachother –
THE DOWNLOADABLE
or would that be
copyright infrindgement
because the song could
be stuck in my head,
did I download it there?

We are all just one –
but seperated by society
and money is our Modemn
linking us to eachother’s brains
that causes the hate, the pain, the misery, the shit
Or is it a virus
in the networkings of society
that is transmitted to each human
at birth through the umbilical cord
As we download and upload
the Ups and Downs of our lives
Trying to make ends meet.

It is official. As of April 11, 2008, I became a Mac owner. Let me first say that I LOVE it!

AppleScript is awesome, Automator is awesome!

One problem, since it’s a Mini, no attached web cam, and my USB one does not work :(

Ohh… well… how about a video:

Every time my wife and I go home to Louisiana, we usually spend an afternoon with her grandparents.

I have a hard time understanding Pop, her grandfather, sometimes. Maybe you can help me out…

Some footage I took while my wife and I went to Bodean’s Fish Market in Tulsa, OK! They also have an amazing restaurant.

They get two fresh shipments of fish DAILY!

I highly recommend! You can find pictures of the restaurant food on my Flickr Page!
