A 30-Day Road Trip With My Family Is Underway!
We're all set to embark on a 30-day road trip. How much is it going to cost?
From $18.00 to $10,000.00, we guess how much this trip will cost us.
My wife predicted $6,500. I'm going to be more assertive. I believe it will be more. I don't think it will exceed $10,000. The kids said it'll cost $8,000, $9,000, and baby Beckett says it'll be a whopping $18.00. That'll be half a tank of gas. We'll be visiting 16 national parks. The plan for this trip is to get to San Antonio because we have a hotel there. Then we have to find some lunch, a place to play somewhere along the way so the kids can burn off some energy, and we have to find some dinner.
Using our new roof rack instead of suitcases
We got a new roof rack to hold luggage. We ordered it from Amazon, and it arrived in this huge box. It says to check the latch points. I'm not sure if you all see it because it's locked. From what I understand, you can't close it or leave it unlocked. When we open it, there are the mounts for when you mount it to your roof rack. We didn't bring any suitcases with us on this trip, so that's something new we're trying out, We're using Pecking cubes instead of suitcases, and each day is a different Cube. This is a hiking bag, a church bag, and a cold-weather bag. That's all we need,
We're in San Antonio.
We're attempting to repair our refrigerator freezer, which isn't quite working correctly. We might go down to the riverwalk later, but for now, Krista got some ice cream, we're going to watch a movie, and she's going to cook dinner. So that's what we're going to do, and hopefully, we'll have time to do the river walk afterward.
