Oso Bay Wetlands Preserve in Corpus Christi

The Oso Bay Wetlands Preserve is a hidden gem in Corpus Christi, Texas. This nature preserve is home to many different species of plants and animals, making it a great place for bird watching, hiking, and picnicking.

The Oso Bay Wetlands Preserve is open year-round, and there are plenty of activities to keep you busy no matter what time of year it is. In the spring, the wildflowers are in bloom and the birds are nesting. Summer is a great time to go kayaking or fishing in the bay. Fall brings beautiful colors as the leaves change, and winter is a quiet time to enjoy the peace and solitude of nature.

We went in April and the weather was perfect. We had a great time hiking the trails, and the kids had fun playing in the playground area. We also brought a picnic with us for lunch.
