Mandeville // Mandeville Beach, Sunset Pier & Nature Center

Hey Travelers,

After our AC broke in our RV pop-up camper, we decided to continue our trip by getting a nearby Mandeville hotel and exploring Mandeville, LA so we could find more fun things to do in Louisiana. We have never been to Mandeville, LA before we so found some fun things to do in Louisiana with kids in the Mandeville area.

Mandeville, Louisiana is a great city to take day trips from New Orleans. Mandeville has some great Louisiana attractions including beaches, fishing pier, sunset pier and the Northlake Nature Center. These are all great places to visit in Louisiana.

Once we got our hotel in Mandeville, a Comfort Suites, we got something to eat and had fun riding the hotel elevators.

The next day we went to the Northlake Nature Center, which is one of the great day trips from New Orleans if you like to get outside and go hiking. We hiked along the trails that they had there. It got really hot outside quickly, so we needed a cool place to get wet.

We found Mandeville Beach, which is a public area with a beach, splash pad and a playground. It was a great getaway to let the kids have fun, burn some energy, and cool off after our morning hike.

Later that night we ate at the Rusty Pelican and we went to Sunset Pier to watch the sunset over the lake. I also let Jacques and Amelia take some pictures with my cameras. Do you think that they did a great job?
