PopCorners - The Ultimate Review
As an avid fan of PopCorners, I decided to embark on a mission to find all the different flavors that they offer. After analyzing my YouTube analytics and noticing a surge in views on my old PopCorners video from 2018, I did some research and discovered that there was a Super Bowl commercial featuring the guys from Breaking Bad that had piqued people's interest in the brand.
I was particularly drawn to the white cheddar flavor, which I had featured in my previous video, as well as the kettle corn flavor. I remembered the white cheddar having a great crunch and delicious cheddar flavor, while the kettle corn was a hit with kids and had a distinct carnival-style taste.
As I scoured the stores in Acadiana, I was able to find six of PopCorners' signature flavors, but was missing one. I started with the sea salt flavor, which I learned was a great chip for dipping due to its durability. I tried it with salsa, guacamole, and even fig jam, and found that it held up well with all three dips. The crunch mixed with the flavors of the dips made for a delicious snack.
Next up was the kettle corn flavor, which tasted just like carnival-style popcorn in chip form. The addition of cane sugar gave it a sweet and delicious flavor that was a hit with kids.
The flavor that I am most excited about is their new Cinnamon Crunch flavor. I actually mentioned in an old video that I think cinnamon would be a great addition to their popcorn, and now, five years later, they've made it happen! The popcorn has all the cinnamon vibes and tastes amazing, with the perfect amount of crunchiness and texture. It reminds me of Taco Bell cinnamon twists, which I used to love. I think this might be my favorite flavor out of all the ones I tried!
Next up was the Sour Cream and Onion flavor, which I hadn't seen in the variety pack before. The popcorn has a good amount of flavor, with the perfect combination of sour cream and onion. The texture and crunchiness were on point, and it tasted amazing. I'm not sure if this is my favorite flavor or if it's the Cinnamon Crunch flavor, as they're both so delicious! It just depends on whether you're in the mood for something sweet or savory.
During the Super Bowl commercial, many people commented on my resemblance to Aaron Paul, who starred in Breaking Bad. I've never seen the show, so I can't say if the comparison is accurate or not. Do you think I look like him? Let me know in the comments!
I also tried out the Spicy Queso flavor, which smelled amazing but didn't have much spice to it. However, it did have a good cheese flavor with all the vegetables and red peppers in there. It's definitely a good option for those who love queso.
There was one flavor that I couldn't find, but after some research, I found a video that showed how the popcorn is made. It's fascinating how they make popcorn out of corn, and I learned a lot from the video.
Overall, I had a great time trying out these new popcorn flavors, and I highly recommend giving them a try if you're a popcorn lover like me, and if anyone happens to know where I can find that Sweet Chili flavor, please send it my way!
