Hey guys! I'm trying to get packed up. I got suitcases down out of the attic, trying to get going so that we could hit the road as soon as possible whenever Krista gets home. Although I think we're going to eat dinner and get Amelia to sleep so that she sleeps most of the drive to New Orleans.
We are all packed up, and I think we have everything but the kitchen sink. We are driving from Lafayette, LA to New Orleans, which is about a 2 1/2 hour drive. We drove I-10 through Baton Rouge.
We made it to New Orleans, but we got a little lost. So now we're trying to find our way to the hotel. After driving down Canal street, we found our hotel and we are in New Orleans for the first time!
I wanted to show you all the views. We're on the 39th floor of this building, and it only has 41 floors. We got a pretty awesome view of New Orleans. We are up high. All right, guys, I will eat my complimentary Orange Mint and go to bed. It's not a Mint. It's chocolate. Till next time!
