Good morning. A brand new day has begun. Looking out the window. It looks lovely. We got in last night and got to the 39th floor. We're two stories up and have this incredible view. Let's take a look out this window. This one isn't as exciting, but it does feature that cool black building. The colossus. The Sheridan is out there as well as Capital One's headquarters. Those are the only two structures taller than us.
It's also flooded here. As they say, it's New Orleans. Today is bitterly cold and windy. We decided to come out to the lobby for a few minutes to get out of the room. Krista should be back around noonish, so we can eat some lunch. Then we're going for a walk around town.
We're just wandering around the hotel, waiting for Krista to return. She's also bringing lunch with her. Then it's lunchtime at the hotel.
Okay, guys, we've got about an hour until her next nap. So we're going to try to go for a walk. It doesn't appear to be as windy or cold, which is a good thing. So we're considering going down to the Riverwalk. We've arrived to the big city!

It is babies first time visiting and she had so much fun! She had so much fun exploring the city for the first time.
I don't think I've ever seen this fountain turned on in all my trips to New Orleans. So there was some firsts for me too!

You intend to gamble?
Unfortunately the hotel we were staying at had terrible internet. While our video was processing we decided to grab food as we were hungry.
We went to a good little Italian restaurant in New Orleans. Most people are familiar with Spumoni. It's a simple Spumoni with fruit and cake on the inside.
We also got some biscottis. This is chocolate from St. Joe. It's like chocolate chip eggnog.
Overall we had a great first time with baby Amelia in New Orleans!
